Located on a 2 acre beach front property between Nellavelli and Trincomalee City Limits in Sampaltivu “Pearl Oceanic Resort” is your ideal holiday destination in Trincomalee. The resort has a unique beach front with shallow waters which are ideal for sea lovers who enjoy swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving etc.
We are a modern facility with eight rooms which include air conditioning, attached toilets, hot water, cable TV, room internet facilities etc.
We also have a modern restaurant with excellent chefs who serve a wide variety of Eastern, Western and Srilankan food. This is the ideal stop-over for those who enjoy fresh sea food such as shrimps, crab, lobster and a variety of other types of fish. These sea food dishes are delicately prepared to suite your desire and pallet. We also operate a resident bar for those liquor lovers with a wide range of Srilankan and foreign brands of wine and liquor.
Among our other facilities we have a brand new swimming pool. For interested parties we can arrange a boat ride to Pigeon Island, Whale watching or private diving lessons.

Trincomalee
Trincomalee is a major port city located in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka and lies on the East coast of the Island, about 182 Kilometers south of Jaffna. It is also the administrative capital of the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is surrounded by some of the world’s best beaches and coral reefs. This beautiful port city is home to Pigeon Island, natural hot water springs, and a natural harbour which CONNECTS the shipping routes of the Western World to the Far East. Trincomalee was also considered to be a very important strategic location during the Second World War and was used extensively by the allied forces. Today visitors to this port city are enjoying its beautiful beaches and marine life including whale watching.
Trincomalee enjoys sunny weather throughout the year with an average annual temperature of 27 Degrees Centigrade.
